FAQs on Commission Changes for Jackson & Josephine Counties:
1. Why is the commission rate for FMOs changing for AEP 2025?
The temporary change in commission rates is part of a strategic adjustment to align with
our overall sales strategy for this period. We are focused on sustainable growth and
competitive positioning in these counties. In order to serve this community the way it
deserves, we want to make sure we are balancing the growth of the plan with the entire
healthcare delivery system.
2. Will the commission rate for agency levels return to the previous amount?
Yes, this is our goal after 2025. We will keep you informed as we move through the 2025
plan year and near the 2026 plan year.
3. How does this impact renewals?
For IA partners, there are no changes.
For agency levels (GA, MGA, FMO, FMO+, NMA), there will be no overrides paid on renewal
business during the 2025 plan year. Our goal is to revert back to the prior override rates for
your renewing book of business beginning January 2026, and we commit to keeping you
informed.
4. Are there any changes to overrides?
Yes, agency level overrides for new business and renewals will not be paid beginning
January 1, 2025 for Jackson and Josephine counties for all of 2025. Agent new business and
renewal commissions will continue to be paid at the highest allowed commission level.
5. Who should I contact for more information or support?
